How long do I have to stay?
All of our leases are month to month.
When is the rent due?
Rent is due on the renewal date of the contract signing. There is a five day grace period with a late fee being added on the 6th day after rent is due.
Are there any other fees on move in?
We charge a one time fee of $7.50 which covers a special cylinder lock that is used on our units. Tenants may not use one of their own locks.
How do you handle payments?
Payments may be made in person in the office, by mail, by the office drop box, by phone, or automatic withdrawal from your credit card. We do accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover with proper identification.
Do you have any special promotions?
We give discounts to active military with proper identification, senior citizens, and occasionally have in house specials. Check with the office for any current discounts.
What about insurance for my stored items?
We carry insurance on the facility but not on your private property. We do have information on rental insurance for your convenience.
What are your office and gate hours?
Office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday –Friday and 8am-2pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays. Gate hours are 6am-10pm, 7 days a week, including holidays.
What size units do you have?
We have 5’ X 5’ sizes up to 10’ X 30’ in our standard units and 5’ X 10’ sizes up to
10’ X 20’ in our temperature controlled units.
What is the difference between standard and temperature controlled units?
Standard units are neither heated nor air conditioned and are outside units. The temperature controlled units are both heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. They are located inside a building.
What about security for the facility and my property?
Secure Self Storage has full perimeter fencing and is very well lighted. We have digital keypad access to get in and out of the gate. Each customer chooses a personal code to access the gate. Should more than one person need individual access, more than one code may be given per unit. The property also has 24/7 video recording with cameras stationed throughout the property. We have a special cylinder lock that cannot be cut as most padlocks can. Both regular and temperature controlled units are protected by one of these locks and you keep all the keys for your particular lock. The temperature controlled units are all entered by keypad access as well. There are video cameras inside the hallways of the temperature controlled area along with motion detection lights. An intercom connects both the temperature controlled area and the gate with the office for assistance or questions.
Do you carry packing supplies and boxes?
Yes. We carry several sizes of boxes, including the wardrobe boxes. We also carry a complete line of packing supplies such as tape, packing paper, bubble and foam wrap, gloves, and labels.
